Hi Dave,

My reasoning is that because TG submissions are automatically reflected on the HSL here, it kills two birds with one stone. Twitch submissions are routinely accepted on the new TG.

Woo! I am eager to try. :)

I pretty much just decided that I'm gonna aim for 1M again, so this is very convenient motivation! I'm definitely rusty. I'm gonna get a really good night sleep and try tomorrow. I've noticed that it's pretty much impossible for me to score big on little sleep. Tiredness affects me much more than others I think.

Anyway, excited to participate!

You still have to submit here AFAIK even if its linked to TG for it to show up on the HSL here.

If I understand this correctly, it is eligible to do the million without recording an imp, assuming TG verifies my score from the Twitch recording? The reason I'm asking is because my Mame control settings reset everytime I try to record an imp.

Hey Victor,

Are you using the "record.bat" batch file supplied with WolfMAME?

If so, there's your problem.  The "dkong.cfg" file, which stores your control settings, is temporarily moved to "dkong.bak" before the recording begins.  Once the recording is complete, the original file is restored.  As a result, all controller mapping assignments are reset to their original values.

As a workaround, you can create your own batch file (without the "move" commands) or manually invoke MAME using the command line:

mame dkong -record dkong.inp

The syntax above is the simplest form, although a number of other options are available.

I just "rem" out the line in record.bat where it renames the .cfg file. I don't understand the point there and it doesn't seem to break anything so i dont bother. That way my inputs are saved. :D
