A jukebox without SRV is unacceptable.

Let's fix that immediately:

Joe Sample was a gifted composer and pianist, and a founding member of the Jazz Crusaders.

I was saddened to learn that he passed away on 09/12/2014 at the age of 75.

I must express my appreciation to Adam for this recommendation:

I saw these guys 3 years ago at the House Of Blues in Boston.  They opened the show with a song that reminded me of the first Kong Off:  "Vincent Of Jersey"   :)

This is from a live performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 7, 2008:

I've always liked this 8-minute jam:

George Harrison & Eric Clapton - I Remember Jeep

George Harrison & Eric Clapton - I Remember Jeep

I was mystified by the title, until I read that "Jeep" was the name of Clapton's dog that had been stolen.  The pet was Clapton's first since childhood, and appeared on the cover of his "There's One In Every Crowd" album (1975):

One of my favorite McCartney tunes (making today a Beatles "Two for Tuesday"):

Paul McCartney - That Would Be Something

The Grateful Dead covered the song, performing it live more than a dozen times (1991-1995).
