Title: Best USB joystick for DK on MAME?

I have recently started playing DK on MAME and am struggling because I am used to playing on a cabinet.  The only sticks I own are the Street Fighter Tournament Edition sticks which are fantastic for fighting games but not so much for classic gaming.  I would like to find a good 4-way stick to replicate the cabinet feel as much as possible.   What are most MAME players using?

The best way would be to use a spare arcade Stick and put it in a custom CP, i'm using a sanwa Joystick in my mame cab.

I heard Vincent got a custom build CP with a real nintendo joystick back then when he prepared for his first Kong Off.

Anyways, when i'm playing mame on my PC i'm using a Competition Pro USB joystick, its 8way but it does the trick.

I use a mikes repo cp wired to a wired Xbox360 control,
Or I use a r4 fight stick for xbox360 which I have modified the restrictor plate to be 4 way

I myself am trying to mod my fightstick right now with an original DK joystick after watching a YouTube tutorial on someone who modded his single player tankstick.
