So, as per this thread (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=479.msg8648#msg8648 (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=479.msg8648#msg8648)), we are gonna try to see if we can organize two, bi-annual, 3-month-long tournaments on 1 CAG game. This is the location to collect suggestions, post bounties, as well as debate/present your case for a particular game being played.
Rules for suggestions:
1) Try to suggest under-played games.
2) Try to suggest games that are under-performed on (meaning, the high score is quite low for the game's potential)
3) Try to suggest lesser-well-known "gems" of games.
4) Anyone can suggest as many games as they want, only just make sure they are good! ;)
5) You may still suggest Kong-related/derived games.
6) You may offer up bounties for games!!! Just specify, exactly, the conditions of your bounty.
7) The game must be emulated on some version of MAME. If the game can only be played on a version of MAME that allows pauses, a needs-to-be-streamed (on Twitch.tv) rule will have to be used if the game is ultimately chosen.
How they will be listed:
I will make a master list of all the suggested games and post it in this post below. Each game will be listed once, and it will be permanently saved here as the first "starting list" of games for each tournament (using this "master list", each tournament will have 3 successive, 2-week polls to vote down the list to just one game to play for a 3 month period).
I will also list in the master list, next to the specific game, any bounties that have been offered for that game.

Schedule for DKFCAGTT#1:
-The first tournament will start at 12:00 A.M. (Central Time) on April 1st, 2014 (not an April Fools joke!) and go until 12:00 A.M. (Central Time) July 1st, 2014.
Clarification: The last credit has to be before the 12 AM end time.
-Poll #1 will be on February 25th, 2014
-Poll #2 will be on March 11th, 2014
-Poll #3 will be on March 25th, 2014

As an aside, there's another CAG All-Tourney going on via Facebook right now here: https://www.facebook.com/# (https://www.facebook.com/#)!/groups/mame.event/
It's only through 1/1 11:59PM though so not much time left. Games are: Scramble, Bubbles, Dig Dug, Defender, Zaxxon, Pooyan, Pac & Pal and Mario Bros.

People, start suggesting games for this (in accordance with the intent of the event), please! This thread should be lighting up with good suggestions, knowing the people I know to be in the DK community! :) :P

Every game I want to suggest is a) a game people hate, b) commonly played c) has an unemulatable control scheme. :(

EDIT: Actually, is Blasteroids a game that uses the 49-way spinner? Is there a good control scheme for it on mame?

Excellent choice. Seconded. Make it the Atari ROM set that was used in the U.S. arcade version, though, and not the easier Sun Electronics version. I wanna see how the scores compare to what's already on the books. Full disclosure: I'm the Arabian WR holder, although you wouldn't know it since TG went down a few months after verifying and posting my score and it didn't get captured by champow or any other scoreboard. For fun, I could post my record game on YouTube after the contest is over so you all can see how it's done. 8)
Reminder, though: you need an 8-way joystick for this. Keyboard play would be extremely tough.

Last chance for suggestions! I will be creating the first poll later this afternoon with the present list. Since the list is so short, we may only need to do one or two polls (not the full three) to whittle down the list to a winner.
