Title: Scoring chart for top hammer strategy (JRTFBDN)
Post by: f_symbols on September 15, 2013, 09:11:00 am
I have created an image to succinctly display possible scoring outcomes (pace :-X) for games that are played with only the top hammer on barrel boards, but the higher values would include grouping under kong.  The first strategy is known as JRTFB ; just run the ******* boards, The second Strategy is Known as B==============================D and has been skillfully mastered by Ross

EDIT:  These numbers do not include any points gained from deaths nor do they include the potential points on 22-1.

Just curious, do your calculations take points from deaths into consideration?

Good question Scott; these numbers are solely based on level scoring averages, all death points are icing on said cake :D

This is a cool chart Ethan, but I would say it's off-center. Too high.

The average safe "run boards" game is really more like 44-45K/level. Most first time kill screens come in between 845 and 875. You have to be really efficient to do much better than that.

Also I think DKF needs to sit down and have a discussion about what "just running boards" actually means!

Because I honestly don't know anymore.

What I DO know is that anyone getting 51K levels with just the top hammer is playing some serious fkn Donkey Kong...
