Well before today I had only hit 400,000 points on Donkey Kong twice. Well today in back to back games I actually hit 400k both times! 8) First time I got a score of 413,700, and then for a follow up I got a score of 458,500. Which is a new personal high score for myself! OK, only 1,100 better than my previous score, but hey I'll take it.
So I was wondering after doing this. What is your highest back to back game scores? It's cool I got at least 413,700 twice in a row. I don't think I'll be beating that back to back personal record any time soon. 8) My high score though is a different story. ;D

Probably when I did a 175000 and followed with a 184000.
My previous best was 124000, before those games
This happened to coincide with me having a game changing realisation on the springs ;)

Congrats, George! The KS will come very soon, if you keep at it!
I think my best back to back games so far are in the low 700ks. I'm sure people like Dean, Hank, Steve, Billy, Jeff and Vince have maybe had back to back KSs before or at least 800k+ games back to back. If not, I'm sure they could, if they just ran boards.

Great score! Did you stream it?
-
Didn't Steve do back to back millions at the ko2???
-
I'm not sure if those games were literally back to back. I would assume not, unless someone can confirm that they were. I know they were, at least, very close together, though.

No, unfortunately my Internet is very sporadic, and so it's not worth it to stream. I of course do save all my MAME games, and I already submitted it to MARP. 8)

When I got my first kill screen, I pretty much another kill screen back to back. And when I got my first 1m+ game, I pretty much got another 1m+ game back to back (not exactly back to back, but within a week for both).

I saved all but one channel/one day of the KO2 streams so I'll have to check, but I think Steve played the million game, took a break, had one bad start, and the next start was million game #2. About as close to back-to-back as one can get.
Which is NOT counting the almost-million he got the night before in the "head-to-head" against Hank. :o
What a beast!

I think those streams are still saved:

I got 680k and 640k a few days ago then 510k and 500k after those two games. I played a 400k game at 970k pace today. If I have three hours to kill I'll point press. If it's under two hours then I'm playing straight through nowadays. My point pressing has coming along and might ditch my straight through play to adopt the more sensible million point march. When times limited I'll put in a straight to kill screen game but I need to try and break a mill.

Right you are, Vincent. Actually, it was 2 weeks later, but close enough:
1,002,700 on 2010-09-11
1,010,800 on 2010-09-25
And then in February:
1,050,200 on 2011-02-16
In just over 5 months, 3 million point games. Pretty impressive.
During that same 5 month stretch, I had . . . uhhh . . . never mind. :(

One thing I probably should note though. I literally had back to back games. After I finished with the 413k score, two minutes later my very next game was the 458k score. No restarts.
By the way people are forgetting one very famous back to back million games. I am almost positive Steve Wiebe had back to back million point games on G3 when there was a G3.

My new best back to back games are 789,400 and 750,400. Highest and third highest scores for me. I've now broke 700k like over 10 times now and still waiting for my kill screen.
