Interesting delay strategy for the Pie Factory.  Maybe it was a better visual representation of how to wait a little bit so all the fireballs go on the left side.

What?  Nothing about timing the flashing 1up back in '83?

Wow that spring pattern.
I wonder at what point the top shelf move became general knowledge. maybe people knew about it even back in the 80's but it was considered too risky for a full game at the time?

I'm trying this tonight to see how many points you'd get doing this awful pattern..

Isn't the top shelf move called the "wiebe shortcut" or something?  I thought Steve Wiebe invented it.   <Wiebe>

At my local skating rink, around 1982, we knew about the top shelf move, but none of us could pull it off consistently.  Maybe it's because we were 11 and 12 yrs old, but still, we were doing it.  NOT doing it on L4 and up is just stupid.

Maybe if you get to the end of the game without top-shelving you get a bonus 2.2m points?

This all looks like solid strategy. But I suspect that if you do follow this system you will get shellacked by Billy Mitchell.
