Title: What in the actual >:(
Post by: QAOP Spaceman on December 20, 2016, 02:09:14 pm

I've just logged onto Twitch to stream some Mr Do! and looking at my stats, lo and behold, it says I have 6 videos

6?

 <gasp>

6?!

 <confused>

6?!????!?!!!

 <mad>

What the fkkkkk?!?

Where have all my videos gone? Including my CK KS?

Before I send Twitch a message of unimaginably vile invective and fury, have I missed something in the T&C?

Is it normal practice to delete someone's videos with no warning / explanation?

I'm so mad, I'm going to stream some Mr Do! anyway, but WHT IN DA  <mad>

I don't think they care. If I remember correctly, they took down justin.tv without warning, eradicating everyone's highlights without batting an eye.

I think there is a "save highlight/ video" setting in the settings tab on twitch, if it's not clicked/checked,  highlights are auto removed after xx amount of weeks iirc?

Yeah I think it defaults to not archiving, I thought in the past that was different but certainly now the times have changed Spacey  <Walter>

I highly recommend using auto archive, also recording locally, and exporting to youtube.

My broadcasts are also all gone, but my highlights are still there (all 4 of them).  For my KS, I downloaded it and I also uploaded to YT.  It would be nice to know the timeframe, though.

Not sure what you were doing Spaceman, but if your highlights are also still there, it could be from not highlighting.  Archived broadcasts just mean they save them for about 2 weeks or so.  Highlights should be saved.  Again, export, download, etc those important highlights.

Thx everyone, I just assumed videos were saved by default  FailFish

All that's been lost to posterity is an old (and often intoxicated) man ranting about potatoes and yelling a lot.

The CK KS I saved as an inp and sent to Jry as well. I'll probably upload it to my Youtube channel.

I reckon I'll be going for 600k + over the holidays, so it's all moot anyway  <stirpot> <popcorn>

That's painful what happened to you. Keep going though, I'll check your stream as well. I hope you're still active.
