As of late, I have seen some confusion on how to ensure that all broadcasts are saved after shutting down the stream, so I figured I would make this post to clear up some issues.
First, access the settings by clicking the wrench icon in the left sidebar:

Next, go to the "channel & videos" section:

Finally, Check both the "Archive Broadcasts" option and "Stream Delay" option:

Now, not only should your broadcasts be archived, but your stream delay from stream-to-viewer should be significantly less. This feature is pretty new, and I am pretty sure that most of you guys do not have this setting enabled. It has been said to decrease delay by ~35%.
Hope this helps any new streamers to get started easier for the coming DKO.
Edit: Be sure to save the settings by going to the bottom of the page after checking the 2 boxes.

Great post mate. Was not aware of these settings either. Thx.

The "Archive" setting only keeps them for about 2 MAYBE 3 weeks period and afterwards they get deleted. If you want to keep it around forever gotta make a highlight I believe. Even then you can get screwed my Fix It Felix Jr highlights are trashed :(

It doesn't affect stream much, but I recently checked the "Opt out of globally banned words filter" box as well. That way it won't star out the curse words on the chat. <thefinger>
