Heads up: I am going to announce the next Donkey Kong tournament within the next week for June 17-21 (Wed-Sun, 5 days). Registration is not yet open but wanted to let everyone know. If you have any specific bounties that you would like to offer, please let me know. I wanted to get these started so people could get in some practice for the Kong Off 4. ;) ;) ;)

I'll put in $50 for the highest JRTFBDN score for players that have never rolled DK (no point pressing, no bottom hammer)

The "no point pressing" part is a bit subjective.
How about no bottom hammers on the barrel boards, and leave it at that?

Pretty simple really; no bottom hammer on barrel boards, no rejumping barrels, no leeching kong on rivets, no leeching fire on elevators.
Just run the boards

So, all 3 prizes are fair game on non-barrel boards?
How about incidental pie, spring, or fireball leeching?
Also, barrels must occasionally be re-jumped in defensive situations (e.g., climbing down a ladder to evade an aggressive fireball). Is that an automatic DQ?
-
There are times when the bottom hammer must be used defensively as well.
The textbook example is when Kong hucks a wild barrel early (forcing you to wait), and the fireball climbs the short ladder. Suddenly that hammer becomes a potential lifesaver.

not point pressing

very rare if you are running boards, so yes DQ

true but rare, could say max of one hammer per level but that seems overly complicated.

A maximum of 2 bottom hammers for the entire game sounds reasonable.
