After the bottom hammer expires, it's usually a good idea to reach the 5th girder as quickly as possible. There are several reasons, and this is one of them:

Haha was there a few times playing in the DKO where the damn barrels just will not let up. Boss straight jump too Kreygasm

Damn..that was crazy...you almost had an oppurtunity to have 5 blue hits with the upper hammer, not sure if that has ever been done.
