Title: PSA: Book your KO3 flights now!
Post by: hchien on August 26, 2013, 07:36:25 am: Airfares are really cheap right now. I remember reading somewhere that the lowest airfares are 2 or 3 months ahead of time (right now!). Currently, flights from NYC to Denver on Frontier are less than $300 (including surcharges/taxes). That's dirt cheap.

Anyone traveling in Thursday and plan on leaving Monday? I figure I need to fly in Thur so I can play Friday/Sun and then fly back out Monday. If so how is the room accommodations working? Otherwise I guess I can fly out Friday morning and get in around 10am. If so anyone have rooms reserved now with the Crowne? I couldn't do Thur - Mon anyone have that part worked out yet?

The trick is leaving from an airport not affected by the riot act. I had to chose an airport a little over 100 miles from my house but it was a direct flight to Denver for $138 "that's with tax and you always get 2 bags on southwest free". So I highly suggest going to http://www.southwest.com/ (http://www.southwest.com/) and checking all the airports around you.

This is true. It is about $50 cheaper to fly out of Flint, compared to Detroit...for the same dates and basically the same times.

You're risking your life with either city...

I was talking to my mom the other day and mentioned how I might be going out to Denver again, and she made some casual comment about the Denver airport being haunted. Google it...lots of crazy stories out there.
