In the wee morning hours of July 7th, WFLI set the fastest time for a killscreen run: 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 59.651 seconds! This beat Danman's previous time of 1:16:40 by a pretty significant margin. You can see the Twitch highlight below. I've also attached the WolfMAME 0.183 INP. For those interested in challenging the time, I created a LiveSplit splits file that contains splits for every board in the game (it splits at the "How High Can You Get?" screen).

P.S. For those unfamiliar with speedrun timing for killscreens: the timer starts at the first movement of Jumpman and ends the first time the bug kicks in and action stops on the killscreen.

Wow nice!!! Great job figured someone would get this. I think a sub 1 hour is not possible but a sub 1:10 is.
Is really just about getting free passes on the pie factory and having rivets cooperate. I had nothing but pretty much free passes tonight (which is unheard of) and was at 44:45 at the start of 15-1 even after three deaths.
Final death on 15-2 doh trying to force a free pass up top. (It started out like a free pass but one fireball went up left ladder and immediately shot to the right and blocked the top right ladder. I nailed him trying to sneak up)

Big congrats. And exactly on the minute JP estimated beforehand that was to be his expected optimal time. Probably possible to beat but it just got a lot harder.
