Kong Off 6 @ Arcade Expo 4.0 in Banning, CA is only 3 1/2 months away. There's not a lot of information out there on what the requirements are for competitors and who's planning on going. So, here's what I know so far:
Automatic Qualifiers

Player Standings
Per this post (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=2009.msg32941#msg32941), the Top 10 players as determined by the DKF HSL (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=366.0) will be invited.
Since we don't know the requirements, I've compiled the top 25 arcade, MAME, and combined players on both DKF and TG. You can see that list here:

Use the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to switch between DKF and TG standings. The box outlines show top 10, top 12, top 20, and top 25.

I personally don't know right now if I'm going to attend. It's like 50/50 chance. But since I don't know anything about maths, it could be anything between 10% chances or 90% chances of attending Kappa.
I invested so much money in all of these Donkey Kong trips for the past years, I don't know if it's worth spending again.

I plan to go if I have a spot in the competition. This post seems to imply that TG scoreboard might be used for qualifying. I hope that's not the case.

I have no idea if it is. I don't think it was the last couple of KOs. I put up the TG info just in case.

I expect to be at the event, not sure what days yet tho. I've only missed one Banning event since AE 1.0, and this one is far enough out from the last one, my wife should let me out of the house again.
Would be great if we could get some more pre-qualifying events between now and then. That always seems to raise the hype level. <stirpot> <popcorn>

Normal people don’t appreciate world class play, so they want to show them the famous people who aren’t great at it.

If Billy, and Steve are the only two people getting a dedicated machine, Billy better take the event seriously, and actually put in some time trying to get a really good score. I don't mind Billy and Steve getting a dedicated machine if there are 12 dedicated machines, but if there are only two, then yeah I'd hope Billy would put the machine to good use.

Any updates on KO6? Bit worried at the lack of info available. Is it 100% happening at Arcade Expo? Nothing listed on their website/schedule about it

Put me down as being massively uncertain about this, for numerous reasons.
Not a money thing, other things.
Seeing some of these yeses is tempting tho.

So the top 2 Donkey Kong 3 players in the world will be there! That's something that Donkey Kong doesn't have at the moment! <stirpot> 8)
Just a thought, but why haven't this list of people said anything? (I left off Wes, and Sczerby because they have already announced they're not coming)
