Title: DK3 has no top level Donkey Kong players that are elite
Post by: homerwannabee on October 01, 2017, 10:36:14 am: The reason why this is interesting is that it seems every other Game with the word Kong in it has at least one top level Donkey Kong player in the top 2. Donkey Kong 3 Doesn't even have one.
Because Donkey Kong is so competitive I say the top 12 are definitely top level.
So let's look at the best players at the other Kong games.
Donkey Kong Junior has Mark Kiehl. Crazy Kong part 2 has Robbie Lakeman, and Wes Copeland.
DK2 has John McCurdy. Crazy Kong part 1 has Wes Copeland. Brazil Kong has John McCurdy.
The truth is it's always been this way too. Tim Sczerby, Billy Mitchell, Steve Wiebe, Ben Jos, and Hank Chien haven't even played Don't even have scores submitted. Dean Saglio, and Wes Copeland are the exceptions, but they quit at one million.
I have a feeling this will change in the future, but until then, it's interesting.

Oh, I make sense as well. Please specifically tell where in the post that really confuses you. Of course your natural inclination is to say all of it. But really what part confuses you. Maybe I can dumb it down to make it understandable for you.

Good Donkey Kong players not good at Donkey Kong 3. Never been good at Donkey Kong 3. Good at other rip off Donkey Kong games, but not Donkey Kong 3.
