Title: Dean Saglio Raises the Bar On D2K!
Post by: ChrisP on December 17, 2014, 03:26:09 pm: Last night on stream, Dean Saglio topped world record holder Ben Falls' Donkey Kong 2 high score (as well as the mysterious "unofficial" world record holder Dustin Austin's reported 405K), with a final score of 425,900!

While Ben will retain the official world record title on arcade hardware, Dean's score is now the one to beat.

As someone with a competitive interest in this title (and who finds it to be flawed but underrated by the community), I'm happy to see this game getting pushed closer to its L=14 "kill screen". I plan to make a push at 300K (and beyond) in 2015, so thanks to Dean for lighting the way!
