Hello everybody.
MARP's 11th Knockout Tournament is coming up soon. This will be a 7 week long MAME tournament, with seven games spanning various genres of arcade games. This year's tournament is being organized by myself and two other MARP veterans, and we're making sure the game selection will be enjoyable for all.
Unfortunately, there will be no DK in this tournament, but for those of you who may be looking to branch out and try other games, this is a fun opportunity to get some direct competition on some unique titles.
The tournament will run from March 9th, through April 26. Players will have a full week to submit their best scores for a game that will be announced on the respective Sundays. At the end of each week, top scorers in that game will advance to the next round until by week 7 there are only two remaining. The first three weeks will be qualifying weeks, so all participants will be able to play at least three of the seven games.
Additional information will be announced on the MARP forum in the coming weeks.

The tournament started Sunday morning and the first round (ESPgaluda) is in progress. The tournament is open registration; simply submit a replay of the game in progress to MARP according to the rules post (http://forums.marpirc.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15302) (no forum communication necessary).
