I'm not sure this is possible, but it would be cool to see a one coin drop event. Either
1) Have the top players play all at the exact same time with one coin drop, and best score wins.  If you lose, there's no take backs.
2) Have a one coin drop race to the killscreen with all Killscreeners.  Fastest person to the killscreen wins.  Again, you only get one coin drop. Die, and it's over.
Maybe have it late Friday night after the beginners and intermediate.
Just a thought.
I'm certain your event going to be fantastic either way    8)
