Relative difficulty of rank C requirements?
« on: December 17, 2020, 03:10:00 pm »
Another relative difficulty thread... What are people's thoughts on the relative difficulty of rank C requirements? I'm curious about not only from easiest to hardest, but also how much easier/harder for each (like maybe on a scale of 1 to 10, easy to hard)? Fwiw, I'm not thinking too seriously of actually trying to do this.

Achieve 1,000,000 points in Donkey Kong
Achieve 1,100,000 points in Donkey Kong Jr.
Achieve 1,000,000 points in Donkey Kong 3, on Hard/Difficulty 3, with 3 starting lives, and bonus lives every 30,000 points
Achieve 650,000 points in Crazy Kong

1m on DK is easily the hardest of the 4.

Easiest is probably DK3 for people that play shmups, maybe slightly harder than the others if not. Once you're good at the game its a 1/10 in terms of difficulty given the 37 lives

1.1m on junior is just adding spark leeching to a board run which doesn't really increase the difficulty all that much. Just the duration increases a bit.

CK is achievable on a board run with some sacs but best to grab a few bottom hammers and do some mild point pressing on barrels. Still much easier than DK
