With my remix kit Sparks seem different on hideout levels. when playing normal Donkey Kong Junior . There's always this strange group of speaks that happens.. Was not like this before kit was installed.
You can play two different versions of Donkey Kong Junior with a DK Junior Remix kit.
If you just switch to Donkey Kong Junior, then you are actually switching to your original Donkey Kong Junior ROMs right on your DK Jr PCB! So it's running whatever version of DK Junior you have on there. If it's the US version, you'll play the US version. If it's the Japanese Version, you'll play the Japanese version. If you happen to have some weird oddball version that's different, that's what you'll get.
If, on the other hand you select "Classic Donkey Kong Junior" when you start a game of Donkey Kong Junior Remix what you'll get is Donkey Kong Junior running from the Remix game engine. It'll play the Donkey Kong Junior stages like normal but the game rules will be slightly different. The spring will be fixed - the control lag will be fixed - all sorts of bugs and issues of the original game will be fixed - and the sparks won't let you leech.
If you hold down the jump button from attract mode, it'll switch games.
