They have a Castle Kong demo unit at Joystick Gamebar in Atlanta.  I've played it a few different times.  While I really wanted to like it, at this point I'd have to give the gameplay about a 2 out of 10.  The graphics aren't bad, but the control is just bad.  The controls are sluggish, you move too slow to dodge anything, your hitbox is huge, and the game is tedious patterns.

I've talked to some folks at Joystick Gamebar, and they've said the the developers of Castle Kong realize the gameplay needs rework  The developers are local in Atlanta, and  I'm hoping to have some facetime with them to give them some feedback on what's wrong with the gamplay.  Hopefully it will get better.
