Then you didn't pay attention to (or watch) the video. The key point in BM's lawsuits, including SWORN statements by the corrupt individuals lying on his behalf, is that the machine was 100% original and unmodified in any way. That's where the checkmate comes in. Rules about modifications don't even enter into the picture (no pun intended) specifically because of the wording in his lawsuits.

It says a lot about what you know about submitting high level scores and what is meant by 'original hardware'. There are very very very few machines that would meet the strict definition of 'original hardware'. What is generally accepted is the PCB is unaltered, running original unmodified software. There are incidents, especially under the new regime where even modified software has been allowed, think Mappy and Asteroids for example.
