I've never understood how you folk are able to listen to music while playing video games. Which is a little ironic, since my favorite game is a rhythm game, but in that game, you actually need the music to play it properly! When I play games like Donkey Kong with music, I just die a lot.
I do when I'm home.
I like:
The Minders
Guided by Voices
Pavement
Steely Dan
Dinosaur Jr
Graham Smith
I can't argue with Pavement. Amazing band. Or Dinosaur Jr for that matter.

Hey Steve,
I applaud your inclusion of Steely Dan.
If you haven't already visited this page, I highly recommend it:

Lots of good stuff.
Very cool. I've seen them a few times as well, so amazing live. Last time I saw them Michael McDonald opened and later joined them onstage for "Peg", I was like a kid at Xmas.

Yeah, I've seen them 3 times now; the first was back in 2006, at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Michael McDonald was the opening act that night. I enjoyed the show, despite the constant drizzle (our seats were back in the uncovered section) and the coldest night in August I can remember.
It's always nice to hear Bodhisattva, Aja, FM, and My Old School performed live.
When you saw them, did Walter Becker tell one of his irreverent stories during Hey Nineteen?
Never saw Pavement live. My go to was the Beastie Boys. I saw them a few times over the years. Luckily I saw them in Denver a few years ago...one of their last shows. R.I.P. MCA.
