We’d like to get a head count of who is confirmed to participate in The Kong Off 3. As of 10/25/12 11:59 p.m., the top 12 DK scorers according to Twin Galaxies are

Congratulations to everyone!!
In order for the organizers to plan accordingly, they need to know who is confirmed to attend and participate. Everyone among the top 12 scorers or the top 10 wildcard contestants who are attending needs to email Craig Bailey at craig@1up2up.com no later than Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:59pm. If you do not confirm your attendance, your spot may be given away.
We will announce the official KO3 participants on 10/31/12.
We look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks.

Would this mean if someone in the top 12 does not confirm or is not going then the next ALTERNATE from the TG list will fil the spot?

Billy likes surprises...he likes surprising people...he likes having people say, "oh boy I didn't know you were gonna do that Bill"...so, maybe he wants to make a last minute surprise...and show up unannounced.

I just contacted Richie Knucklez on Facebook to contact Billy Mitchell since he knows his home phone number. Strange the O.P. doesn't know Billy Mitchell's status since he is close friends with Richie.
Edit: I also messaged Vincent Lemay to get hold of Jeff Willms if possible.

I had talked to John on the phone and he said he was going. Dan is looking into booking a hotel so I assume he's going as well.

Last time I heard, Jeff was going, but everybody's always in flux.
Look at Allen. "I'm going for sure" --> "OH NO! I CAN'T GO!" --> "I'm going"
Or Ben, who went from "I'm going, but I'm not taking the WC spot" to "I'm probably not going at all" to "OK, I AM going", to "I'm going, AND I'm taking the WC spot". ;D
I won't believe anyone until they have airfare in hand!

Jeff has 90% chances of coming in my opinion, but I'm not 100% sure. And we can't reach him on FB or phone, unfortunately. But I'm pretty sure he will come.

Did you see who posted the thread, his username is craig1up2up and he signed his post "Craig from The 1up"
Maybe he thought posting on the DK forum would be a good way to easily get in touch with top DK players?

heyguys, sorry for the lateness. limited internet access... but i got some messages about confirming attentdance at the KO3. so just wanted to (confirm) that i am (FOR SURE) going. i will see you all there. safe trip wishes to you all. my flight is booked and am scheduled to arrive in Denver at approx 4:30 p.m. on november the 14th.

Heck all you guys completely Fund Allen's KO3 in a Heart Beat .
When I have stated for over year .. I will not have the funds to be at the KO3.
I have tried to come up with ways of making the money for the KO3 But everyone laughed as it was a complete Joke.
How often did I continue to hear are you coming to the KO3? We want to see you playing with Allen!
The KO3 Will not be the same without you Brian you need to be at the KO3 .
