Title: Calculate Your Own Pace

I'm new here, thought I would start off by bringing something to the table...

I devoted a good portion of my workday earlier to creating this little web app and thought it might be of use to someone out there.  I'm sure there are similar programs that have been going around (probably much better).  The app is pretty straight forward:

Enter total scores after completing lvl 4, etc...
The app forecasts scores for the remaining lvls based on previous averages (starting from lvl 5 onward)
The projected score at the kill screen is likely to be a bit high (assuming your average scores are meaningful) since the app does not take into account deaths (which will raise the average projected score of all levels after death occurs)
Then again, the app doesn't include the few hundred points you may make on the kill screen >.< (so it could be a tad low if you took all your lives to the end or suffered wasteful, vain deaths)

Anyway, thought I would share.  If you have any recommendations or feature requests, shoot me a comment.
Thanks!

Cool!

There is another, more "high maintenance" calculator available here: http://www.helpimpoor.com/dk/index.php (http://www.helpimpoor.com/dk/index.php)

I really like yours too though! Quick and easy.

What would be really nice is one that I think a lot of people are waiting for: where you simply insert your score, the current screen, and it gives you a table of what your final score would be if you were to continue at "x" average per level from that point forward (48K, 50K, 52K, 54K, etc.).

Ex: "My game ended at 474,000 on 12-1. What would I have ended up with if, from there, I ran boards (48K), did a fairly conservative two-hammer run (52K), or point pressed like crazy (58K)?"

Actually, I think I just inspired myself to come up with some Excel formulas for that...

Cool program. Check out the site Chris linked, it may be very advantages for the community if you and my friend pool your ideas and skills together to make a single site!

Chris, for the pace app me and my friend (Alex) made, we will be seriously revamping it this summer using all the feedback we have received over the last year or so. My friend just has to finish up his schooling (he has one semester left) and then he will have time to dedicate on reworking the code. After we have a chance to improve on it, it ought to be way better. Some of the cool ideas we have are 1)being able to save and share games easily to Facebook, 2) being able to archive game data and slowly, over time, make the algorithm more accurate to your specific playing style, and 3) being able to put down 'flags' for when you are deciding to significantly change your playing style over the course of a game (like switching from 1.1m pace to just running the boards around 900k). This is just the tip of the iceberg. My friend really is excited and can't wait to have time to work on it.
