Congrats to Robbie on a great game of 1,070,200 tonight!
When this guy gets a cab, look out!
Awesome job man.
-
Thanks Jeff! I hope to keep improving and once I get that cab I will have a real shot. Let's see what happens with this score.

Robbie is, for me, the official representative of the ever growing list of players who I was once ahead of, but have since crushed me utterly. :D
If I remember correctly, his PB was something like 400K a year ago. Then he got a kill screen just before the Kong Off 2, and now here he is right behind Jeff Willms!
Like a bawwwwwwssss

Great score, Congrats Robbie!
With all these awesome scores being put up, and nobody knowing how TG is going to handle dedicated machine invites, things are getting more and more interesting by the day.
There could be a swing of a few people at this point that are booted from the top 12...!
I'd guess that TG would have to stick with arcade verified scores, but who knows?
We have already seen the DK community literally officially become part of the Kong Off (Wildcard Series), but will TG make another move and include MAME scores...or use the HSL from the forums maybe?
It was easier to deal with since during KO2 there was still very few players with 1M+ scores...but now that's changed.

Wow excellent! Man getting interesting now. :)
-
The plot thickens...way to go, buddy! Awesome score!
-
I bet there will be a few surprises in the top 12 before Oct.
-
well done Robbie, awesome score!

congrats again, robbie! im glad i got to watch it go down live. that was pretty sweet
-
Congrats! Had a feeling he's be one of the next one
They are several in the "wildcard" group that are popping out. And of course I'll use Steve Wiltshire as an example again since he played his way into it. There are several more that I can see. If I had to make a prediction I'll probably go with Robbie Lakeman to be the next to crack into the 12.

When Robbie plays he doesn't mess around! :)
I wish this game was recorded and submitted to Marp .
-
Congrats Robbie! Awesome to see it happen

Congrats, Robbie!

I have said it before and I will say it again. That was some fine konging if I do say so myself.

Congratulations, Robbie!
The backlog on my DK Game Summary to do list is piling up (2 for Robbie, 1 for Jeff Wolfe, 1 for Phil, and 1 for Corey). I enjoy doing them, but this is going to seriously cut into my afternoon nap time. ;)

Since Hank and Dave have opened the door for the quoting of past predictions, permit me to include one of my own:
As for the rising young stars, I like what I've seen from Philip Tudose, Robbie Lakeman, Ethan Daniels, and Corey Chambers, to name just a few. There's still work to be done, but I'm optimistic with regard to their future chances.
Now, if Ethan and Corey would quit messing around and start taking this game more seriously (slackers!), I just might be able to swipe Chris P's crown as the unofficial DK "Prince of Pundits". 8)

Nicely done, Robbie!
-
Kongrats! Are you gonna go for just enough for 1.1m now, or all-out?
-
1.1 would bt the next step since that is hows ive always set goals for myself, but eventually I wanna go all out. The biggest challange would be to have the patience to get a big start.
