Yesterday, Elon Musk announced he was going to try to test his Neuralink into study for humans. He showed a monkey playing Pong with a Neuralink chip in her brain.
So, I am going to ask the question, that everyone deep down is thinking. Should Neuralink be allowed when it comes to playing Donkey Kong MAME?
I say yes. Using something other than your hands has already been done in video games. You need to use the foot pedal with your feet in Pole Position. This is simply using your mind instead of hands. Now, certain things still need to be enforced. The 95 percent speed rate still needs to be enforced.
Also, although I think it's OK to use Neuralink for Donkey Kong, I don't think it should be used for games where button press speed actually matters. For instance, Track and Field Neuralink should be outlawed. You can think button presses much faster than pressing buttons with your fingers.
Neuralink is basically like having autofire.
