Congrats to Lakeman for becoming the Donkey Kong World record holder yet again. Only person In history I can think of that took on three different champions and conquered all of them . So a round of applause. The return of the king has happened yet again!

Yea man, love it. Impressive pb to reach 1.26, his after game speech was great felt like a press conference with Brady after he wins a super bowl like, "They played a great game, put up some fantastic plays, but we were able to convert a few extra plays and it worked out for us," kind of feel ha when he was saying mccurdys score was a good score and not garbage etc as a response to mccurdys flagrant speech after he got the record.
Congrats Robbie, happy for you; knew it was only a matter of time.

There hasn't been an official submission yet (submission here (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=364.msg41577#msg41577)), but I've already gone through the steps of verifying the score and updating the HSL (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=366.0). Quite a lot of interesting stuff to unpack with this one.
First, on June 10th, Robbie achieved a Start PB of 150,300. Before that his PB was 149,900. Before this WR game his best level average in a game was 63,494.12 in his 1.247M score. And the most death points he's had in a game was 31,400 in his 1.238M game that followed the 1.247M. So, a week ago, one way of looking at Robbie's theoretical PB was 149,900 + (63,494.12*17) + 31,400. That just happens to equal 1,260,700. <gasp> <blinky> Obviously the numbers have changed a bit now, but I thought that was pretty cool.
Anyway, for this game:
Aside from the world record score, Robbie didn't actually set any mini-records in regards to start, board averages or deaths, but he did achieve full-game personal bests for:
Barrel average: 13,033.33, #9 all-time
Pie average: 9,176.47, #4 all-time
Spring average: 7,782.34, tied for #4 all-time
Level average: 63,988.24, #6 all-time
His still-really-good rivet average of 7,929.41 was #17 all-time. This was his first full game finishing with a 13k+ barrel average. He did set a new record for the fastest to reach 1.2M on the last life, reaching that score at 6600 on the timer on 21-1. This was also the 3rd longest game of DK that I have records for, clocking in at 3:27:20 (P1 Start to "Game Over"). The two longer games are Robbie's 1.238M (3:29:02) and 1.236M game by Serphy (3:28:14).
This is now the 2nd time Robbie has regained the overall WR, and the 4th time he has regained the arcade WR. And he pulled it off just a few days after Serphy had passed him for most total days as the overall WR holder (456 vs. 451).
