Title: How to install a DK joystick into a USB fightstick?
Post by: Redghost357 on June 13, 2018, 06:32:33 pm
So I bought a cheap $60 fightstick off of Amazon for my raspberry pi and the joystick feels nothing like the original DK joystick so I want to know if I can install a DK joystick into here. The pictures below hopefully help.

One issue that looks obvious is that the wires for each of the 4 clips only come in 2 and not 3 as the clips on the DK joystick appear to require 3 wires for each 3 connection pins per clip. So is the wiring still possible to hook up or is there’s not enough wires?

Also where can I get cheap refurbished DK sticks? I hear KLOV has em but I still am lost on their site whenever I try to find them.

It looks like those switches had 3 connections each at one point, but the normal closed connection has been removed.  Switches only get 2 wires connected, even if there's 3 connections on the switch.  Nintendo switches are the same configuration as those, you will connect to the same inputs - ground and normal open.
