Title: Real Donkey Kong joystick?
Post by: Sbarron1983 on December 08, 2017, 10:01:58 pm
I am in the market for a real Nintendo joystick for Donkey Kong. I haven't had much success on ebay. The only one I can find ( Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/302299856578 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/302299856578) ) says it an 8 way from a red tent. From my understanding Donkey Kong used a 4 way joystick. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to track one down in good working order? Thanks

****THESE ARE SOLD****

I've got a couple I currently have listed on KLOV.  PM me if interested.  Below is what I posted at KLOV.  Prices assume shipment with continental US.  Paypal F&F or add 4%.

The minor corrosion is extremely superficial.  These sticks are solid and every bit as good as the ones I have in my cabs and play on regularly.

Nintendo TKGU-23-50 joysticks.  $45 each shipped or $80 for both shipped.

Ninty Joystick A.  Could use a good servicing and some cosmetic scrubbing.  All there, all original, all working.

Ninty Joystick B.  Serviced by me about a year ago.  Completely disassembled, cleaned and the pillow ball lubed.  Missing the clear plastic shaft tubing thingy, otherwise all there and all original, all working.

Ninty Joystick Mounting Hardware.  I don’t claim it to be original, but it works to secure either of the above joysticks to a standard Ninty CP.  The first person to ask for it that is buying one of the joysticks gets it.
