It was nice to have the Kong Off at ReplayFX, but admittedly I don't enjoy watching people play arcade games since I'd rather play myself. Still, it was nice to have the Kong Off there it added some excitement to the atmosphere. Plus, I got to see a lot of people I've met over the years.
Here are my thoughts on ReplayFX and how I would have done things differently to save time and money. Also in the link is my walk through video of ReplayFX. It's almost an hour long so if you're like me you add it to "watch later" and then sit back on the couch and watch it on your streaming device :):

YouTube wants you to have a trailer for your channel maybe 30-60 seconds long but I did my own thing by compiling the greatest hits of clips from about a year's worth of material.
So, on my channel we film arcades, expos and play 8-bit console/computer home brews, old brews, prototypes, works in progress and hacks. I usually play games with my kids and we will grade the game.
I play a father that thinks modern games are crap and spends all his money on video games instead of providing basic needs for the children like food and clothing. I'm also delusional in thinking I'm a "YouTube sensation" after hitting 100 subs.

Years ago I bought a gutted Trivia Whiz mini and made a Star Castle MAME cabinet out of it. In this video, I show it off and play a game of Star Castle in MAME.

Now, with selling off my console gaming collection, I thought about buying the Space Fury cabinet off of Todd Tuckey for $2500. But before I do that, I thought I'd load a MAME front end along with Space Fury and a couple other ROMs onto my Star Castle cabinet to see if I could get my Space Fury fix. In this video, I show how stuff is connected in this MAME cabinet as requested by a viewer and then we play a few games of Space Fury.
