Steve, I didn't keep track of attempts, but I started trying when the money got over $500, which was around May 17.  I think there was a 4-day stretch where I didn't play anything at all, but I played quite a bit the other days.

Well, I think Ben knows how I feel.  8)

What this bounty really brought home for me is how impressive George's record on this game actually is.

DK3 has now been put to the test by another of the very best classic gamers (Dwayne being the other), and it was a serious challenge for him to get less than a quarter of George's score on the same settings.  14 million, over 8 hours?? It's madness that he can push 37 guys for that long. :o

I think most folks who had played this game with some degree of seriousness recognized how insanely high of a bar George had set.  It just took some $$$ to make anyone want to play it past a 1 hr tournament timing.   ;D

Well this is the exact reason why I was cheering for Ben to get the bounty over you.  Ben actually said several times on his broadcast that he actually liked the game. 8)  It would have sucked if it went to someone who didn't really care for the game.
