Speaking for myself and my account of history and current events, she's waaaay off base. It's been a couple of months since that video premiered, and still the only thing I can come up with that makes any sense is she was just trying to be provocative...as for the reason? I have no idea.

Why this is getting posted here .. Trying to refuel the fire..   Just leave the lady alone .     If she is not your friend why do you care what she says?

I enjoy my friendship with her..  I look forward to meeting her  Next month.    She's a cool lady you just don'nt understand her.

She has allso told me i could come visit anytime i wanted and play some DKJR on her machine..  Becouse it just sits there with no one playing it.  :)

I have mixed feelings about this being here!

On the one hand, bygones should be bygones, especially since it seems that Cat has made some positive steps to bury the hatchet about it. She never apologized directly, but I think she's had a change of heart, so good for her.

On the other hand, this is one of the definitive moments in the history of DK drawwwma.

Brian, I really don't think it mattered that much to anyone if you took sides on it or not, not sure why you brought that up.

It was a ridiculous tape that was made that insulted basically everyone in the DK community.  If somebody doesn't like DK then fine, people say that all the time, but this was just crazy. And it certainly shouldn't be the standpoint of someone who was selected to be spokesperson and writer for the new TG. Someone in that position should represent all gamers without passion or prejudice, and this tape is a documented reminder of that not being the case.

Sure, she is cool sometimes, she's on my FB page, and we talk music every now and then. But, that doesn't stop me from remembering her opinion on DK players.

What Dave said about "documented reminder" is pretty much exactly what I meant by the above. I said it jokingly, but on some level it's non-trivial. This video definitely has a place "in the database" so to speak.

Just curious about who she is, from what I get she writes articles for Twin Galaxies or did and has since tried to downplay what she said.  Is she married to someone I should know? Its funny to hear somebody her age talking about cliques and jocks not to mention trying to make an argument that playing one game is cooler than another.

I merely posted this for those that missed out, as well as for documentational purposes -especially since it looks like she tried to delete it from her FB and YT accounts.

Chris, she hasn't apologized, so in my mind, it is fair to not completely let it be 'bygone' because it isn't actually yet fully a 'bygone'.

Brian, I don't remember you taking any heat. Only those that disagreed with her took heat, that I know of. Once again, it seems like you are playing the victim and reveling (?) in it.
