A great congrats to me for achieving such a fine score.  Yes, I created my own congrats thread. <Billy> At one point after one death I was 40k above where I needed to be. But later in the game I was slowing down a bit and the game was not yielding as many points. Both of my two deaths were very avoidable. In fact about half way through the game I had a real view of a potential 1.4 game. I stopped pressing hard, made some mistakes, and well, lost about 60k potential over the course of the next 10+ levels. Nevertheless, thanks to Mark and Mike for all their support, and everyone else in the community!

I think that I will try for the Arcade record next, and work on 1.1 for DK on the side for breaks. I will probably play for 170k after the level 4 hideout, stay there and sack two men, and then see how far I can get in the game. That way, if it does not have the potential I will know and can stop, and if it does, well, I will keep pushing and not die.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.  ;D Forgive me for starting my own congratulations thread but it allowed me to add some more detailed thought about the game itself in the main post in the thread, which is usually absent. Even without being added to the News section, this thread got the attention it needed to share my accomplishment, and I thank all of you for sharing this moment with me. I created a hitbox.tv account so I will be restreaming the Twitch version of my game with full audio, that way you guys can hear me yelling at my kids.  <Wiebe>
