I'd reckon that DK Remix will eventually have it's own subforum, but for now, we have a place to talk strategy and post videos, discoveries, etc.

I'm imagining what it'd be like to combine this with a hammer grab - with all the barrels out in play, maybe even grouped together somehow... it'd be ridiculous if that could somehow successfully be pulled off.

Awww. The game is a little twisted, but not quite that evil. If you move jumpman with the hammer all the way to the right, then turn around, the fireball won't get him even if it climbs the rightmost ladder. They always go left after climbing a ladder.

Basically that kinda needed to happen. That was my 4th time on that board, but I hadn't actually touched that hammer itself yet, and hadn't directly engaged with the implications of where it's positioned!

The last death is ridiculous and hilarious, but basically, for some reason I felt invincible once I had the hammer and that I could just jump into the spring zone and nothing could hurt me.

Now I'm prepared for next time.

When I said "long break", I might have meant "a day or two." That's long, right? Kappa
