Try this one. I made sure i disabled nvram. This one isn't for the HS list, just for you to test. I stopped at 22,200. Only problem is I'm playing left-handed for the first time. I'm guessing I need to change the default controller settings before running the record command? I reassign buttons for the DK games. Let me know if this one desyncs, too. Thanks!

As for the controller settings, it depends on what you're doing/how you want to do it. Using the default record.bat file from the command line will automatically set all DIPs and controller settings to default every time you record something. You would then have to change the controller settings after the game starts up. This can be a hassle to do every time you record an INP, so I recommend one of two things:
1) Edit the record.bat and remove these lines:
if exist cfg\%1.cfg move cfg\%1.cfg cfg\%1.bak
if exist cfg\%1.bak move cfg\%1.bak cfg\%1.cfgThis will leave your controller settings and DIPs the same as whatever you set them to.
2) Use a separate recording command, ensuring that NVRAM is disabled, like:
mame dkongx -rec dkongx -nvram_directory NUL
