Competition Pro (Amiga-inspired) USB Joystick

Has anyone ever tried this: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1153

I'm thinking of getting it for my raspberry pi, primarily for older console games like sg-1000 and the Atari consoles, but the one joystick and two buttons are also enough to play a large number of older arcade games on MAME, so that's an option, too.
