Here's a shitload of games to vote on. Results only show once you've voted, so that leaves some measure of "secrecy" to the process, even though we'll just be discussing the games publicly here. You can vote for up to 3 games and you can change your vote. Suggest more games and I'll add them to the poll....though I'm not sure if that resets the vote count.
I added games based on the following criteria:
1) Games that fit the strengths of the the group as a whole
2) Games that can be absolutely dominated by a few players on our team
3) Games that can be dominated by a few but might be learned quickly by others
4) Games that are just murderous in difficulty so everyone is at a disadvantage
5) Games that we've played recently and are fresh in our minds
Some of these suggestions are obviously horrible but we need to get the ball rolling...I just threw out a bunch of names. Kappa

Ok, so I really like what Jry did here, these are good ways to select our games, at least initially. <Billy>
I think that we should include DK, sooner than later; it is inevitable that we will select it, and the sooner we do, the less likely the other teams are to get better at the game. If we pick dk in the last month, it gives the other teams 3 months to get good at DK. We (as a community of self-moderating, relevant CAGers) <Pigger> are essentially on the top of our game (tourney was just this weekend and most of us play fairly regularly anyway), so we should pick it before the other teams have a chance at going good <Allen>

We now need to pick 4 games at once to submit by June 30th. I don't think we need more games to choose from so I'll just reset the poll and allow everyone 4 votes.

Need to have our games picked soon and there's a 3-way tie for 2nd: Crazy Kong, Bubbles, and Elevator Action. This would actually fill out our 4 games when you add #1 DK to the mix. So, do we want Donkey Kong AND Crazy Kong in our picks? Moon Patrol and Zoo Keeper are the next two games with the most votes.

I'm personally very much against selecting both DK and CK -- it's cheesy and unnecessary for DKF domination, and it's silly to focus our tournament efforts on DK games which we all play all the time anyway.
Please, please, pick one or the other.

I did mention that I would try and convince John (Lexmark) to play if ZK came up, but he has already said prior to talk of this tournament that he is flat out with work commitments. If ZK does come up, I'll try and twist his arm, I'm sure an average game for him will be worth at least 3rd if not 2nd place on ZK.

The top three are all good games, and have at least one player here who is world class at them. Bubbles I picked because at least some people have recently played it because of the forum challenge. How many times do we get to choose the game for the week? I'm not really sure I understand the process. At any rate, I think picking DK/DKJ is silly, as those games get enough play here anyways. CK I wouldn't mind because it's oddball enough.

Alright guys, I think we're out of time. Donkey Kong and Bubbles are definitely in, with Crazy Kong, Moon Patrol, and Elevator Action tied for the remaining two spots. I say we ditch Crazy Kong. There will be more than enough games to play and I don't think doubling up with DK and CK will give us much of an advantage.

I didn't vote prior to today. Since I'm not participating in the event, I figured I had no business affecting the outcome of the poll. However, it sounds like the choices have been finalized, so I voted moments ago (in order to view the results).
For the record, I went with:
