Title: Even more KOK2 rumors coming from Tipster.
Post by: TheKD on February 25, 2021, 06:10:31 pm
This morning Tipster posted on his Twitter that hes looking for insider info on the current KOK2 filming.
Then, in the comments of one of his recent videos the rumor of Robbie Lakeman currently filming his attempts to break the world record on the famous Enzo machine.

They are clearly building a story. I just think there are a lot more people that havent been included that should be.

I wish Dwayne would come back here, Im sure he knows more.

Does anyone know if there is a classic arcade spot in Pompano Beach? Thats where some rumored filming is taking place. Im not sure if its happening this weekend because  <Billy> will be doing an appearance in Chicago.

My guess is that it would be at Arcade Game Sales (https://www.arcadegamesales.com) down in Oakland Park. Billy's taped DK scores were supposedly done there, per this interview with Steve Kleisath: (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=2804.msg42559#msg42559)

So before we get to the score dispute stuff, Billy said that his earlier taped DK scores were done at, quote, "Rob's arcade" [AGS owner Robert Childs]. Did Rob have an "arcade" at that time, or did he just have his sales shop?

If he did, that was the old location, which was still Arcade Game Sales. I know from time to time Bill would say he's "going by the arcade," even though technically it's a shop, it's not an arcade, although it is called "Arcade Game Sales".
