Title: Sanyo help?
Post by: M.Schrock on April 16, 2020, 08:17:07 pm
I was recently playing and my screen went black sounds still works. I turned it off and on a few times nothing. Then I took the dc300ma fuse out to check it it was fine. I put the fuse back in and turned it back on and amazingly the screen was back. My question is I'm assuming there is going to be more problems in the future or does this happen sometimes?

You might try to reseating the video cable (the white one going from the game PCB to the monitor board).  Do this only when the game is powered off.  If it happens again, I'd consider reflowing the solder on those connections starting with the monitor.  I've had issues with a black screen on my DK before that were related to the edge connector but the game wasn't playing blind (with sound) so I suspect you have other issues.
