Brothers and sisters we are thrilled to present you the inaugural Australian Arcade Championships. This event will run over the second weekend along side The Brisbane Pinball Masters and will see the best arcade players from around the world battle it out on over 20 original arcade cabs.

Entrants are permitted 30 high score attempts on any of the arcade cabs on site with their top 5 scores going to towards finals on the Sunday. The finals is a head to head best of 3 or 5 battle royale not to be missed.

We will have many more titles to announce but the first games confirmed for the AAC are:
Space Invaders
Galaga
Donkey Kong
Pac-Man
Frogger
Dig Dug
Centipede
Mr. Do
Wonderboy
Puzzle Bobble

Lot's more information at bnepac.org and tickets can easily be found by putting BPAC into the search bar at eventbrite.com.au. Any questions feel free to hit up Jon Tannahill via gday@bnepac.org.

Super massive thanks to Moonshine Madness for this stunning poster.

Also super super massive thanks to 1UP Arcade Australia for their sponsorship of the event and Hutchinson Builders for their sponsorship of the Showcase.

Game on!!

I've never even heard of Wonderboy or Puzzle Bobble. Were these released in the states?
