Title: GYRUSS Marathon starting 7. July by Kim Kanonarm
Post by: Svavar on July 06, 2015, 05:57:03 am: Last year Kim 'Kanonarm' Kobke played the 1983 GYRUSS for 49 hours and 16 minutes, breaking the previous world record set in 1987 with a score of 62,200,250 in Chassis Arcade, located in Copenhagen Denmark. The previous marathon can be viewed here:

This Tuesday 7. July at 9 AM Danish time (0:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time) Kim will be going at it again, seeing how long he how long can last in a marathon. He hopes to significantly improve his previous time.

Check him out live and let's try to give him all the support he can get. The marathon will be streamed on Chassis Arcade's twitch channel:

Have no doubts that Kim can top his current WR again, the only question is will the old Gyruss cab run without a reset for such a long time ROFL

So it looks like a 25 minute break every 20 hours. I'm curious to see how things go after the 60 hour mark. That's when the fun begins. Don't fuck around with the 25 minutes. Get straight to bed. Falling asleep is the hard part.
