Title: Yolmpics Walter Day Card
Post by: danman123456 on February 06, 2015, 12:09:43 pm: It was mentioned in the shoutbox today about possibly getting a card for the event that is going on now. It seems to have some support from people and It sounds like a really great idea. I can reach out to Walter and Mark to see how they feel about it and if they would be interested in doing something like that. Basically the card can list everyone participating the games we are playing along with the standings at the end. That is a lot to fit on a single card but I think it can be done.

1. Would people be willing to contribute to the "Card fund" so to speak.
2. This is also a good opportunity to raise funds for the WD cards as well so if everyone chips in even just a little we could get cards printed up so everyone on a team who is interested gets 5 or 10 cards and the rest of the money left over goes to the WD Card fund.

Thoughts all?

It might be worth mentioning to the powers-that-be, dan, the sheer number of submissions there have been so far, not halfway through the contest.

Wolf says 1600+ already, after the weekend I wouldn't be surprised if there's a shedload more.

All this when some people, with their low brain power, are saying things like "The interest has diminished" "Bunches of guys that showed up years ago are 'gone' " "many cag-er's cycling out of the hobby, or lessening their involvement, and that's to be expected as time goes on" etc.

I really don't care if they put the actual team name on there. I am more confused by what one could put on a single card to adequately summarize an event this large. Should be interesting to see what comes out of this.
