Single Internet Gaming Bash
1. - Selected games will be played for the entire five week period Start will be October 13th and will end November 17th
2. - Auto fire is not allowed
3. - Adjudication – Creating INPs is encouraged but not necessary. If there are any score disputes the player in question must submit a separate INP of their game play for approval. In this case, it is suggested to create INPs for large scores and/or long play-sessions.
4. - Submissions: players should submit their scores via this form “when I make itâ€
5. - All games must be completed and submissions received no later than 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time on November 17th. Any scores submitted after this time will not be valid.
6. Scoring: Will be based on the total number of participants. If there are 50 entrants, the highest score will receive 50 points. The next highest score will receive 49 points and will continue in descending order with the lowest score receiving a single point.

Games will be played on default dip switches.
This is bound to cause the same problem as before: different DIPs for different versions of MAME. Can we get an actual list of game settings?

I sometimes drink beer and do stupid things but I was sure I nominated Dig Dug but don't see it as an option.

Contra Arcade is much harder than the NES version. LIT!

Which romsets are we to use? I think there are at least two for Bosconian - Midway and Namco and they have significant differences if I remember right. Crazy Kong has several sets (Orca,Falcon, etc) but also Ver1, Ver2, etc. Sorry, but can you clarify or if it doesn't matter, that's okay too. I'll be starting up this evening after work! Kreygasm

Until Wolf clarifies, my guess is that we should use whatever RU is using...meaning the ROMsets for MAME 0.135. Bosconian at RU is bosco. Crazy Kong is Crazy Kong Part II, meaning ckong before MAME 0.139 and ckongpt2 for MAME 0.139 and later. If people are playing on WolfMAME 0.106 then Contra is contrab and 1942 is 1942b as those sets were made the parents post-0.106.

Yeah, I sincerely hope the offroad trick is disallowed in this event.
As a spectator on the sidelines, I'll be far more interested in tracking the results without it.

Yer all RU defaults, wolf outlined them in the first post.
"Offroading" in outrun isnt allowed.
All dips and special rules are being posted alongside the scoreboard of each game

Is it o.k. if I play Super punch-out on TG settings (harder)? I want to use my cab and don't want to change the dip settings. ;)
