Tim's first post on this forum- Posers and Hacks, socialist pace restrictions, TG and KOK rant, outright attack on everyone.

Tim's first week on this forum- Multiple mud-slung rebuttal threads regarding TG, KOK and Hollywood, Posers and Hacks.

The last few months- More than a handful of derailments in various threads. Intense name calling, specifically directed at Robbie, Ken, Billy, Steve, Walter, Sanders, Kuh, and TG. Words such as: Hollywood hipsters, democrats, fat-cats, yuppies, yuppie punks, posers, cheaters, Rom-juicers, conspirators, padded insiders, cultists, brainwashed fan-boys, weevie and bitchel lovers, etc.  We were also told that the Kong Off was fixed, that the EP-roms were being selectively modified, to increase scores at the event, to generate hype and to feed  the corporate machine.  Many of the best players were either directly or indirectly insulted by the "million point scores do not fall off of trees" condemnation; a blatant discredit to their gaming prowess and ability to perform under pressure in a live competitive format.

My Opinions

I've learned to look past Tim's posts. In the first week, I didn't read any of the rebuttal threads; the whole thing was exhaustively nauseating.  On a few occasions (thread posts) I reminded Tim that we as a community were not able to change the past, that we understood and respected his accomplishment at the time, had no control over the situation, asked what he would like us to do and reminded him that we had already been told this stuff ~25 times in the last 3 days; "we know" or something along those lines.  As an active viewer of his stream "dk_f_symbols" I was generally open, kind and receptive to his rants, at the very least I was/am a faithful viewer of his stream.  I spent nearly a week attempting to explain to him that the majority of the players understood his position, and that a descent majority of the members were not interested in the doc, or the history, but just playing the game in the here and now, the active competitive scene is what makes this game so appealing to many of us.

The verbal attacks on Ken were initiated by Tim on stream, while Ken was NOT a viewer, this argument concluded with Ken offering Tim large bounties for CAG scores; none of the bounties were accepted.  Robbie may have disagreed with Tim's views regarding the KOK, Alex Jones and the NWO and has every right to, but he never called Tim names, simply disagreed with his beliefs.  I watched a stream where Robbie was called all kinds of derogatory things, why? because he disagreed with Tims perspective.  Instigation is in the eye of the beholder, these were not instances of Robbie and Ken preying upon poor little Tim.

The most recent incident was in no way instigated by me.  The shoutbox was actively being fed "the rant" and I simply reminded him: we can not change the past, we told you we feel bad, you told us 30 times already (we're just telling each other the same stuff over and over :o).  At the same time, a trip to the next kong off to "set the records straight" was announced and almost instantly turned upon me in the form of a physical threat.  I was asked something along the lines of "then what?" and replied that I would prosecute in accordance with the law, like any normal, non-violent person would do in that event. I also explained that no one should ever want to physically harm another human for any reason, it's simply un-necessary. I also asked if 'I am being physically threatened for asking [Tim] not to repeat the same stuff that we cant fix?'

That was the extent of my interactions with Tim.  I truly feel bad for the guy, but at the same time he is constantly attacking active or passive members of the DK community, and the thread derailment is quite burdening for new or newer members to sift through.

Ethan's first point is what frustrated me the most.  We welcomed him into our community and that is what he gave back in return was insults.  That's a good way to give off a bad impression to an entire community, along with constant reminders of how he got screwed.  That's all and fine if you want to rant on the internet, but what do you want from us?  We as a community are past the KOK and really just play for the competition and for the friendships made along the way.  With the generosity that I have received on my road trip and seeing people go out of their way to help me out was an incredible experience, and I owe it to this community.  When I see someone like this insulting the community, it really pisses me off.  During his verbal attacks at Ken, he also took the time in his rant to call me a moron and a punk all because I stated an opinion.  He even said my 1.07 at the Kong Off live was suspicious to him and that all 22 machines had been hacked.  Really?  As of late I have come to terms that he will never change his opinion and be furious at the situation like it happened yesterday.  That will never change.  Every time I go into his stream and bring up kok and how much I love it and the characters in it, I can tell he enjoys it so he has an excuse to rant about it.  That's the type of personality he has.  People have been wanting him to beat Billy and Steve's scores as that would be the best revenge for him at this point, but it's not just about that for him just money.  I've been really trying to light a fire under his ass and then tell him to beat my score, because it seems like that is the only way to motivate him to beat Billy and Steve.  Anyways for a while this forum has been surrounded about Tim, kok, and what to do about Tim and now we can move on from this, and watch Mrsteddybear and see what happens next.

fair comments guys, i dont think he was an innocent victim or anything... just that i saw several random digs on the forum recently and a bunch of trolling on his channel the other night, then hearing he was banned again just seemed really uncool to me, and a double standard...

If anyone thinks that giving him a while to run his course and not immediately banning him for being disruptive and generally a waste of space reflects badly on this forum, I have literally no idea what to say to you.
