I'm putting out a DK challenge bounty. I will give $20 at the KO4 to anyone who can accomplish this first and submit a twitch video or inp to this thread.

Challenge: Get 0 points on 1-1 while also grabbing both hammers in the process of completing the entire board safely.

I've done this with 800 points (2 barrel smashes with the top hammer and 200 points during the transition), but it seems it would take a lot more luck with barrels steering away (as well as getting wild barrels) while holding the top hammer to get this. But I just wanna see it!

This is not a submission since I did it from a save state...but I thought you'd be interested to know that 3800 Bonus on 1-2 is setting the bar a little low. Kappa

So, at least 7900 bonus timer points (combined) are possible for Level 01.

Yeah, that's what he did. He also used a slightly different pattern but which still ultimately ends up to take the same amount of time as the one I came up with. The only reason I was so surprised was because I could've sworn I used the touch-n-go method on the top two rivets as well... so I thought for sure 3800 couldn't be beaten. Kongrats to Jry!
