I have thought about this a couple times but I knew it would just mean more work for me in the long run but would anyone be interested in having on official list of high scores for No-Hammer and Level 1-1? I may not get to this project for awhile since I have some DK projects in my queue already but I just wanted to get a feel for what the community thinks of this idea.

I would like this :)

What I will do now at least is create the threads. Eventually I will pull from TG but I would invite people in the meantime to post videos, inps, etc, that may not be on TG for future updating.

I'd be up for these!
P.s. I think it should be called '1-1 high score list' not 'level 1-1 high score list', just to minimize confusion. Additionally, something to think about: Must 1-1 records be set on your first man only? I think the 'first man only' rule was originally solely about saving time for the referees, but what if someone is doing a 4 man challenge, and gets 12,500 on their last man? or on their 3rd man, so they decide to finish the board with it instead, to get a 1-1 1-man score? Just potential issues to think about.

I actually prefer Donkey Kong Level 1-1 High Score List, as it is now. I don't find it confusing at all.
Hey Mitch, what happened to your avatar photo? It's showing up, at least for me, as just a placeholder.

Well, I tend to refer to '1-1' as a 'stage' or 'board' not 'level'. I guess we can make a poll about this particular terminology, if it comes to that, as I know Vince is in the habit of calling it a 'level' (no matter how many times I try to correct him! :P )
Not sure about the pic... thought it was just on my end. I'll look into it. Thanks

Semantically, I'd say it's acceptable. "Level 1-1," as in "Level 1, Screen 1."
-
The title of the forum badge is "1-1 WR" and the description is "L1-1 WR Score".
I'm guessing the L stands for "Level" :P

I guess as long as all that is connoted by having the word 'Level' before '1-1' is that it is as Chris said, 'Level 1- Stage 1', then it it is fine. But I often here people talking about the first screen saying things like "...this level...", as though that individual board is, itself, a level.

The No-Hammer is now up and running. I decided to honor Jeff Wolfe by getting it up now! https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=389.0 (https://donkeykongforum.net/index.php?topic=389.0)
We can certainly discuss the particular rules for this score list.

I told him just to beat it in a couple days ...
... as soon as I get it up their he beats it again ...
I decided to honor Jeff Wolfe by getting it up now!
You know, Corey, a forum member with a more salacious sense of humor might be tempted to drive a truck through one or more of these unintended openings.
I shall continue to exercise proper decorum, demonstrating that I'm not one of them. ;)

Ok, so we now have the following High Score Lists:
Regular
No-Killscreen
No-Hammer
Level 1-1
Wild Barrel
Happy gaming! :)

Touch Screen HSL, I may potentially be the only person here who plays dk on touchscreen controls, but I think it would be awesome to see other competitors doing it. If I upload a submission showing my start, gameplay and highscore on an Android or Apple device, would it be considered? I could even help establish some ground rules for touchscreen submission, and a guide to play dk us set 1 on phones and tablets. :)
