Title: Justin Elliott crushes Donkey Kong Junior WR! 1,584,400!

In the early morning hours of July 3, coming off a stinging defeat only hours earlier, our man finkel finally did it: a new, massive world record of 1,584,400 on Donkey Kong Junior!

It's no easy feat to dethrone Phil Tudose on any game, but Justin not only passed Phil, but did so by a significant margin of 28,900 points. Phil set his score of 1,555,500 on December 18, 2021 but had been in the top spot since July 31, 2020 when he leapt passed Mark Kiehl's 1,412,200 with a score of 1,478,000.

After watching all the innovation and huge scores over the past few years, it feels like we're finally on the verge of breaking that 1.6M barrier. Who will be the first?!

Congrats on the huge game, Justin! And I can't wait to see what comes next!

Wow, this is an epic score. Truly an amazing achievement from an Amazing player.
This score has once again led me to reevaluate the exchange rate of Jr to Donkey Kong.. I'm going to have to up the exchange rate to about 350k.  So a 1.3 million score is equivalent to 950k in Donkey Kong apparently.
So, Allen Staal's 992k score is basically a 1.342 million score on Jr. Wow  <gasp>

Edit: Nevermind, I think the exchange rate might actually be 330k after looking at this numbers in better detail. So, a 1.322 million DKJr game for Staal.

I always figured about 80 percent of your jr score is equal to a dk score. Say you have 1.25m in jr that's like a million in dk. That's just my made up stuff though.

Otherworldly score for us mere mortals….a really good score for Justin.
I like the 80% rule.  When Justin drops his 1.6, 80% of that is 1.28.
