As a trucker I hit flying stuff, and running things on occasion. So why not a list of animals you've hit with a vehicle.
1. Dog
2. Rabbits
3. Pigeon
4. Butterflies
5. Flies
6. Gnats
7. Sparrow
8. Ants
Ok, now what critters have you hit?

Love reading that as "space dog" and "space pigeon." Look out spaceman!
Guessing that someone hit a moose, someone hit a deer.

Not hit any animals but had a wasp fly inside my crash helmet on motorbike
It was walking about on the inside of my glasses <gasp>
I have never pulled over so quick and taken helmet off so fast.
Now I keep the visor down all the time.
Feckin wasps <mad>

I've mopped up 100's of cabbage butterflies going up and down I-5 every summer. Fk 'em! Call yourself a butterfly when you're actually a moth? <thefinger>
And I've seen a few bees and wasps stuck to my radiator on every car I've owned. Fk them too. That was fk or bee fked. <thefinger>
But yesterday a Fig Beetle flew rt in front of me. It was about a block from my house. I felt bad. I used to keep them as pets when I was a kid. I made them rub lotion on their skin. I liked them. ;) As soon as I pulled into my driveway I jumped out of my car and went to see if he became one with my radiator. :-/ BOOM! he flew right by my big dumb face! <gasp> He's alive! ;D
But my cousin ran the fk over a big German Shepard. :'( Pulled a bitch and finished him off cuz he saw him pulling himself across the street with no back half. <gasp> :'( Cut that fker in half and he was trying to run! :-/
Fk you Riley, for asking such a morbid question. Fk you!

Two incidents stick out:
1. Long, overnight trip from Virginia to far upstate New York, through the mountains. All manner of critters come out at during the wee hours of the morning. I mowed down a whole family of possums trying to cross the road - an adult and at least 3-4 wee ones. I still feel horrible, but they do look like Satan's minions. I also ran over a large snapping turtle on that trip.
2. About 20 years ago, I hit a bear. Thankfully, I was driving on a winding, curvy country road, in a very small car (Ford Fiesta), so I was probably going 60 km/hr tops. Bashed the hell out of my front end. The bear rolled over onto the shoulder, got up, and just ran off. This was before cell phones, so I definitely didn't want to get out of the car with a really pissed-off bear running around. I sat there for a good half hour before getting out and walking to a nearby farmhouse to call home.
Otherwise, I think I've only hit very small critters - squirrels, a bat, a bird, and moths/insects. Amazingly, no deer, and there are a TON of them around here.
