Title: Donkey Kong PCB's are hard to find for me. I need help.
Post by: raulito on February 09, 2018, 08:45:34 am
I really need help on this: Actually,I cannot find any Donkey Kong PCB at any arcade web site. Every arcade website says that they are out of stock. On Ebay, there is an auction that says that costs 50.00 in order to fix both both Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr PCB Boards only. I actually have a working Donkey Kong Jr PCB  :) ;). Is there any possibility to change the Donkey Kong Jr. roms to the 12 Donkey Kong roms in a Donkey Kong Jr. PCB?

http://mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=DKBOARDSET (http://mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=DKBOARDSET)

Mike's also has Double DK board sets, for a little bit more.

I think there's a couple up for sale on KLOV also.  There was as of a couple days ago, I haven't checked since then.

I already went to that site (www.mikesarcade.com (http://www.mikesarcade.com)) and the message says: "Please, contact Customer Service for ordering details". Meaning:it's actually not available (to put it into the customer's shopping cart). And Mike offers a $50 core payment if the customer sends a non working board set.

Wow! Very interesting! And how much does the Donkey Kong PCB Board costs and where (or which site) I really need to purchase it for you? I've seen one at Ebay;it costs 50 dollars plus Shipping & Handling;and it's a repair service for only 4/2 tkg boards of BOTH Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong,Jr..

I've got several of them. Happy to sell you a DK PCB for $225 + Shipping. Feel free to PM me.

No need to keep looking

Call Mike's.  He probably just wants to make sure a potential buyer is getting the right board set of their cab, etc.  Or possibly he doesn't have any on hand, but it's still worth a call.

And Aaron's price is fair and reasonable.  That's the going rate on private part-to-private party sales of a working board set.

:) ;) MikesArcade.com's channel is in You Tube, and so am I. He has several videos about fixing videos and demos about GBS-8200 CGA to VGA Converter. Even so,I am ready to accept Aaron's offer anyway. The reasons why I am really interested in doing so,is because 1) I saw several videos of MikesArcade.com on You Tube, showing that it's possible to play Donkey Kong /Donkey Kong Junior in a PC Monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio, via CGA to VGA converter. 2) Mike's Arcade told me that I need a Nintendo to Jamma,a GBS-8200 CGA to VGA converter and a monitor with 4:3 aspect ration,in order to play both games with absolutely no need to build or buy any arcade cabinet.  ;)
